Excuse me, but
A. I don't see any Current 93 or other neofolk on your chart.
B. Crunkcore was a genre with great promise that was cut short by autistic flame-baiting and the rise of industrial hip-hop. Don't diss it.

This is the problem with so many genres; people interpret the genres differently and therefore may grant different music different genres. It's too far. _________________ ''Isn't He A Bit Like You and Me?''

Can't say I agree that it had great promise, though admittedly I've heard only a handful of musicians who attempted the style. Honestly, I think crunk as a watered-down variant of dirty south isn't very enjoyable for me so there was no hope when people were adding quasi post-hardcore aspects as well as novelty comedy qualities. I never found songs with substance in the style, but again I never liked crunk in the first place.
Though, not a fan of industrial hip-hop either.
But yeah, given what I heard to my tastes; I'll diss it plenty, what I've heard sounds horrible.

Most genres have rubbish or something of worth but what passes for mainstream country nowadays is horrific. Also most of if not all of the current popular rap stuff, anyone with a prefix of lil or kanye etc. Its one area of music I feel a very old listening to it as I cant relate or find anything worthy or redeeming In it.

Contemporary Country is a mess, yeah; but sometimes there's artists to sneak through the cracks that get played on places like GAC and CMT that are worth hearing (Union Station, for example). That said the bulk of country-pop I dig is from the 20th century for the most part though a lot of alternative scenes in the modern makeup has interested me a lot from time to time.

I'm ignorant of most country to be honest so there's bound to be some good stuff but it's that over polished auto tuned stuff that makes you feel Ill when you hear it.
