Not bad, but not great either. I would jump for one of his Sun sessions compilations before this, especially if you're jonesing for some straight up rockabilly.

Nope, that would be some blues artists of the '30s and '40s, many of whom wrote the compositions that many "rock gods" stole from, not this plagiarist hack.
Also, regardless of the stealing of music, he is comparable to a Justin Bieber of the '50s (not music-quality wise, but as an image/performer/entertainer) (not trolling).

Sorry, I meant more in terms of his commercial appeal; he made the genre travel to the other side of the atlantic, found its way into our record stores - and the rest was history.
