I don't think I've ever reall understood White Light/White Heat. Perhaps I need to give it a few more listens, but it doesn't strike the balance between artful and catchy for me as well as my top 2 picks do. Velvet Underground & Nico is fantastic, but Nico's voice has never sat well with me. I always find it distracting.
