Used to not be into the Stones back when I was really into classic rock, now I'm not that into classic rock but love the Stones, funny how that works right? Anyways, I honestly have no clue why they're not on my chart but they should be. Hardest choice for me is between Exile and Let It Bleed.
1. Sticky Fingers
2. Exile On Main Street
3. Let It Bleed
4. Aftermath (UK)
5. Beggars Banquet
6. Between The Buttons (UK)
7. Their Satanic Majesties Shoddy Trend-Hopping
Aside from Satanic Majesties they're all pretty brilliant.
1. Can't You Hear Me Knocking
2. Rocks Off
3. Midnight Rambler
4. Sympathy For The Devil
5. Under My Thumb
Shout-outs to Dead Flowers, Tumbling Dice, Let It Bleed, and Jumping Jack Flash in the songs category too. Man, what a good band.

Yes!!! Can't believe you're the first person to pick this gem. One of my daughter's (& mine ) favorite tracks. She likes to pretend she's a ballerina when I throw it on. Plus she likes rainbows. And unicorns. She's five after all. I miss her.

I'm not saying this is the same reason Frogger likes it... but it probably is.

Haha, let's go with that.
But seriously
Here's a bit of MrFrogger backstory: My girlfriend and I live far away from eachother, and one of the ways we stay in communication is by sending mixtapes of songs that make us think of eachother, and the first track on the first mixtape I sent her was She's A Rainbow. So that plays into it a bit.

Ughh.. Honestly all five of what I deemed their essential recordings from this stage have occupied the top spot of this list this week (besides Let It Bleed). Beggars Banquet, Let It Bleed, and Sticky Fingers are often grouped together as a stylistic trilogy by most critics. But, that's not entirely accurate even though the difference is subtle. To me Beggars Banquet has quite a distinct personality compared with the 70s hard rock (n’ roll) of Sticky Fingers and Let It Bleed.
Essential
Beggars Banquet (70s rock begins here. Where the Stones craft their signature sound. The perfect melding of honky tonk country & blues.)
Exile On Main Street
Aftermath (US) - the culmination of their straight-up blues worship
Sticky Fingers (The Stones on steroids.)
Let It Bleed (Stones add some muscle and 70s hard rock bombast to their signature sound.)
Solid Additions
Between the Buttons (UK version since it has Back Street Girl; one of the biggest mind fuck songs ever. BTB is quite charming and underrated)
Interesting Excursions
Satanic Majesties (tracks 3, 4, 6, & 9 rule)
Flowers
Songs
Play With Fire
She’s a Rainbow
Sister Morphine
Dead Flowers
I Got the Blues
No Expectations

Probably my favorite stones' song, it's a kind of sad song, for me I always listen when I'm sad or in a long car drive, the piano clams me down.
