Jack White may have the ability to get riffs stuck in your head for years on end, but Nick Drake's finger-picking is otherworldly. It's something that shouldn't be ignored anymore. My vote goes to Drake. _________________
Jack White's style of guitar-playing is so raw and visceral, it just straight-up rocks. Every time I hear one of his solos, I can't help but really get into it. Nick Drake's guitar-playing is fantastic, but White is one of my favorites.
Not a particularly huge fan of Jack White's style. It's nothing that I couldn't listen to any acclaimed hard rock album at random and hear a more enjoyable guitar style. I always thought Nick Drake had a very beautiful and pretty guitar style, but hopefully he doesn't get too far because there are some amazing players (far better than these two anyways) in this tourney.
Might have gone with White had Drake never made Pink Moon. The way that album is carried by just solo guitar is hard to beat. _________________ kill yr idols
Both are great, but I'm going with White. The White Stripes' catalog spans a much broader range of musical styles and White's impeccable playing carries them through it all. Also, I'm bored as fuck with BEA's Nick Drake obsession.

Jack White for me too, just more fun to listen to, and as much as I love fingerpicking...just listen to Ball and Biscuit, it is too awesome. Plus he is the underdog in this round anyways.
