I have spent hours organising my albums on my iPod and take take great pride in the collection I now have at my fingertips.
I also, however have many loose individual tracks from various artists that I love but just haven't been bothered to listen to further or the fact that I know the song is widely seen as a 'one hit wonder'.

Here are a number of examples from my collection - what are yours?

A.A Bondy - American Hearts
ABC -The Look Of Love
Ace - How Long
Aha - Take On Me
Andy McKee - Rylynn
Badly Drawn Boy - Disillusion
Billy Bragg - New England
Billy Ocean - Love Really Hurts Without You
Yardbirds - For Your Love/Evil Hearted You/Shapes Of Things
The Bloodhound Gang - The Bad Touch
The Boomtown Rats - Rattrap/I don't like mondays
Bruce Hornsby and The Range - The Way It Is
Semisonic - Secret Smile
Doves - Catch The Sun/Black & White Town
The Caesars - Jerk It Out
Candy Flip - Strawberry Fields Forever
The Charlatans - The Only One I Know/North Country Boy

I'm actually a complete neat freak with my iTunes so everything I have in there is in album form...

Hmm, I solely use Spotify and then download anything they don't have. I suppose it's a very corrupt way to do things but I also spend a lot of money on vinyl and go to shows...so I think it evens out.

Kudos for doing it the right way though.

Is this because you buy singular songs or singles?

Likewise, individuals songs on album-view would drive me insane. Honestly it's not very often there will be one song I want to listen to that I don't have the album for, and in the event there is, YouTube works just fine.

I tend to to download compilation albums which may contain singular songs I like and others that I consider dross and simply add that particular individual track onto my iPod that I like or I do not already have. The remains of rubbish or stuff I already have is left on my library.

Exactly, glad to see I'm not the only one who does this. Cool

Another one like you here xD I've had Fireflies by Owl City alone for a while though, but I now have the album.

I don't know much from your list Nowhere, but by all means listen to the Billy Bragg's EP where New England is from. It's the fucking best EP of all time, objectively. Like do it now.
