Alright, so nominate any hip-hop album that's centered around an MC that's NOT in the the overall's top 750.

Every user can get 2 nominations!

So, requirements:

1. Has a "good amount" of Hip-Hop in it (Dälek, Death Grips, cLOUDDEAD, Nicki Minaj, etc. are all fine).
2. It is not within the top 750 on our trusty overall chart
3. It is centered around an MC rather than beats (so, Donuts by J. Dilla is not eligible)

I'll go ahead with my nomination of Drake's Take Care.

OK if this is gonna be a thing, can we agree that it's going to wait a LONG time, yeah? Lot's of other tourneys, don't want too many at once.

Totally thought this was beloved on the site:

RawHyde by Jeremiah Jae & Oliver The 2nd

Rip The Jacker by Canibus is still my favorite hip hop album so that's what I nominate (however, I don't think I've listened to a hip hop album in a few weeks).

Argh, what to pick, what to pick. Every Ghostface album is eligible, as is the #1 on my chart, though I feel those albums get enough love anyway. Tempted to go with Clipse's Lord Willin' or Pharaohe Monch's Internal Affairs, or perhaps throw some UK representation into the mix with something by Jehst or Skinnyman or Roots Manuva. Below The Heavens is another possibility, but I figure somebody will nominate that anyway. Pinata or Blue Chips or Marcberg are all options, but I feel the tournament doesn't necessarily need too many albums from this decade. Then, of course, there are classics like Slick Rick's first, Brand Nubian's first, Innercity Griots, pretty much anything by Kool G. Rap or Scarface. Think I'm gonna plump for an old favourite though, perhaps the most effortlessly funky hip-hop album ever, and one by a group that gets nowhere near enough love outside of hip-hop circles. My nomination is...
