Always please the majority. Do you think this is a good thing to go by in life?

Is it an absolute statement? Like in every circumstance is it good to go with the majorities wishes and ignore the minority?

Will you ever stand up for the minority or yourself?

If you feel the right thing to do for yourself and the minority would be to contradict the majority (which in some cases can be definitely true), then prioritise the happiness of the few. Maybe you've been living the majority's way for too long and the minority aren't happy. Maybe there's a way to make both sides happy.

I find that always pleasing nobody is the best way to go. Compromise is the story of my life, and when I can stick to it, things seem to go well (enough)

No. I used to have a pretty utilitarian outlook on life, but then I realized that even if 75% of the world is in favor of slavery being legal that probably doesn't mean it should be.
