This was a disappointment to listen to. It's not awful, but it's not all that it's cracked up to be. Even with all the energy, it bores me.

It's an important album but it's overrated for sure. Too much filler. First side and express yourself are great. Obviously the title track is a monster. Shows they didn't have the material when they had to put remixes of tracks on that sounded old hat by the time this came out. Mind you it got a lot of plays in the six form common room at the time, woo look at us we listen to songs with swearing in

A lot of great stuff and monumental to the genre, but yeah overall it's not one of my favorites. I've still got mad respect for it, though.

I'm not as dismissive of the "filler" as most are. I think it's a solid record, and definitely one my favorites in the genre. _________________
