I tried doing a similar thread a while back, but due to a poor wording choice and a subsequent argument about semantics, it sort of got off track. Anyways, my question is this: What are some artists / bands you really like that aren't represented in your top 50? I'm mainly interested in artists / bands you've listened to a lot or own more than two of their albums. I'm also curious which one's have albums in their catalog that you know would make your top 100 if BEA allowed 100 picks. Here are some of mine:

Top 100:

Wilco
Television
The Talking Heads
Pavement
Billie Holiday
Miles Davis
Hank Williams
The Sex Pistols
The Zombies
Aretha Franklin
Joe Jackson
Patti Smith
The Decemberists
The New Pornographers

Other favorites:

Neko Case
Yo La Tengo
Built to Spill
Calexico
The Ramones
Bob Marley and the Wailers
Death Cab for Cutie
The Roots
Public Enemy
The Stooges
Jonathan Richman (although The Modern Lovers is in my top 10)
Outkast
The Replacements (Tim might make the top 100)
Husker Du
Flogging Molly
Iron and Wine
The Byrds

Well the ones that come to my mind first:
Nirvana - I actually had Unplugged in my top 50 for a while
Pixies - Doolittle is very close to my chart.
Joanna Newsom - actually only one of her albums - Milk-Eyed Mender - comes close to my chart (not very close though) but I really like her as an artist + I absolutely adore some of her songs..
Also The Smashing Pumpkins, though I think that only Adore would be in my top 100.. Other albums are all good, but I seem to prefer particular songs to albums as a whole (this is particularly the case with Mellon Collie)
(There are more of course..)

Was just thinking of this the other day.

Kaiser Chiefs
Kasabian
New Order

Those would be the main ones for me. And a top 100 would make it a way to show a broader music taste on this site.
