Internal Affairs, easy. One of my favorite albums in the tourney. I really like Below the Heavens, but it has some decidedly lesser tracks.

Internal Affairs
For all of the reasons that denmarkman put, plus it has such a great feeling that surrounds it!

I adore both of these albums, but if I was to call one 'inconsistent' it would most definitely be Internal Affairs.
But yeah, vote to Below the Heavens - if only by a whisker - for all the reasons I've stated many times before. _________________ 2021 in full effect. Come drop me some recs. Y'all know what I like.

I'm the other way around to be honest. I think Below The Heavens doesn't have a single weak track on it and Internal Affairs has some very skippable tracks.
Below The Heavens gets my vote. Just an incredible hip-hop album. Amazing chemistry between the MC and the DJ, beautiful lyrics at times, fantastic beats... and that's just on the surface. It really has everything. _________________ Submit Your List for BEA's 2023 Film Poll!

Below the Heavens, no question.
Only below-excellent song is 'Simply Amazin' imo.

Really? That's probably in my top 3 tracks on it. To each his own though. Glad to see it winning _________________ Submit Your List for BEA's 2023 Film Poll!

Interesting. There's certainly nothing I would ever skip on Internal Affairs (with the possible exception of the "Simon Says" remix, which I like but which just doesn't feel like it belongs at the end of the album). I think Below the Heavens opens pretty much flawlessly (every time I listen to it, up through the first 5 tracks I find myself wondering why I haven't fallen in love with it in the past), but around "Blu Colla Workers" it really falls off for me. There are still some great tracks, but after that point it's never up to the level of the first few tracks for me.
That being said, I still haven't heard it enough to be that familiar with it, and I still remain hopeful that those tracks that I haven't cared for in the past will grow on me on future listens. It just hasn't happened yet.
Either way I really, really like both of these albums. I'm just being super picky to help choose between two albums that are both really damn good.
