Ugh. Every time a song (or even the intro track) is downvoted I feel like going on a multi-paragraph rant about why that pick is dumb. This album is so incredibly rich, I must have heard it 100 times and my favorite track in each listen usually depends on my state of mind at the time. What's more, the album is way more than the sum of its parts.

I'm not sure I like this game. Dissecting an album like this feels wrong... especially an album as good as Illmatic.

If it's gonna bother you that much than I might suggest you just avoid looking at this thread...

I kinda enjoy dissecting these albums tho, on this site we tend to just usually look at albums as a whole so this provides for a nice change of pace in my opinion

And just to the blank is a joke posts, just because people have different opinions than you doesn't make then wrong...
