Deftones Around The Fur and White pony
quicksand check out slip, and manic compression. all these bands started in the late 80s and were popular in the 90's and today.

I think some ignorant people shrug off Pet Sounds because when one thinks of the Beach Boys, they think of simple songs of surfing, cars, and women.

I pity those people who won't listen to Pet Sounds because of that reason. They are missing out on one of the best albums of all time.
