Now we're reaching the pressure cooker stage. Nearly finished off all our nominees, only these lucky few remain...

5A: Holly Hunter in The Piano vs. Ralph Fiennes in Schindler's List
5B: Robin Williams in Good Will Hunting vs. Jack Nicholson in Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest
5C: Daniel Day-Lewis in There Will Be Blood vs. Peter Sellers in Dr Strangelove
5D: Joaquin Phoenix in Her vs. Bibi Anderrsson in Persona

My votes!
Holly Hunter
Jack Nicholson
Peter Sellers
Bibi Andersson

5D: Abstain, can't choose between my favorite 2 performances left in the tournament. Though I can't help but feel like Phoenix's performance was greatly enhanced by the directing, but it's a stellar performance nonetheless

What I meant to say was that Jonze's direction in Her put Phoenix's acting in the spotlight. I haven't seen Persona in a while, so I'm probably biased about that matchup, since Her is fresher in my mind, as well as being one of my favorite films of recent years. Persona is due for a rewatch, though I prefer The Seventh Seal and Wild Strawberries over it.

But yeah, films are great these are some of my favorites
