|
You can't quite remember how it happened but what's done is done, you have two copies of an album. These are mine.
Plus I don't know how you categorize what's in your collection, I go off physical media: cd's, records, cassettes. I don't care how y'all do it.
Bjork - Debut
Bjork - Post
Gorillaz - Plastic Beach
Red Hot Chili Peppers - Blood Sugar Sex Magik
Pink Floyd - Ummagumma
Santana - Santana
The Dead Weather - Sea of Cowards
Grizzly Bear - Veckatimest
Grizzly Bear - Yellow House
Simon and Garfunkel - Bridge Over Troubled Water
The Sugarcubes - Here Today, Tomorrow Next Week

I have 3 pressings of Panda Bear's Tomboy.
Back when it was released I got the early white vinyl pressing. A year or so after that I saw a crazy deal for the 4LP box set, which includes instrumentals, acapellas, and non album tracks. So I ended up getting that for $10 (it was normally $30-50). Than I friend gave me a clear vinyl pressing for my birthday that year. So I got a lot of Tomboy on my hands.

Hm
Well, I have the CD and vinyl of Born To Run and Velvet Underground & Nico. I used to have Kid A on CD and vinyl, but I gave the CD to someone.
I also have the vinyl and CD copies of a few artists or labels who have given them to me as gifts. Light Up Your Lantern by Lynx, The Lemon Squeeze by Jeremy Fisher (which is god awful, but it's on yellow vinyl and looks awesome), and Hunt and Chase by Megan Bonnell.
EDIT: Just remembered I have Bridge on Troubled Water on CD and vinyl too. _________________ Submit Your List for BEA's 2023 Film Poll!

I have 8 copies of Foo Fighters' Sonic Highways on vinyl. I regret it so much. However there are 10 different versions of it and I kind of need to get the remaining 2 _________________

The question is which pressing sounds the best

When my wife and I first moved in together, we discovered that our combined music collection had exactly one duplicate: Paul's Boutique.

The Box Set for sure. The other 2 I have sound pretty shitty actually. They probably didn't take the time to master them for vinyl as they did the box set. Plus the box set has The Preakness.
