I listen to music exclusively through an old fm radio via a pair of alligator-clipped coat hangers which I drape around my ears

Got sick of how sluggish and heavy-weight iTunes was, so I made the switch to MusicBee about a year ago and I've never looked back.
It's so nice being able to scrobble directly from the software, as well as create auto-playlists.
Also, I don't know how iTunes edits metadata, but it seems so clumsy - MusicBee directly edits the actual file, so if I ever make the switch to another piece of software, my collection will be super neat and tidy. I spent a whole day cleaning up iTune's metadata mess after I realized what it was doing.

I have been using itunes for ages. First, because it was the easiest option with an ipod touch. Now, because it's easy to synchronize to my galaxy S3 using iSyncr...and because i'm used to it by now.
I agree with whoever says the new version of itunes isn't as easy to use. However, i upgraded when i upgraded my max to yosemite, so now i'm stuck with the new itunes.
On my S3, i use neutron music player, because it has the best sound quality of any of the android music apps, without question. _________________ fav artists NOW | ALL-TIME favs | i listen 2 more music than u so u don't have 2!

Used foobar for ages, than I switched to a mac last semester and starting using iTunes temporarily before I could find something better. I eventually got used to it and now it would be a lot of work to switch to something else.
I tried using spotify for 2 days, until I realized it's the equivalent of listening to your music with earmuffs on while repeatedly banging your head against a wall.

It will take a lot of messing around to get it how you want it, but the benefit is that you should be able to get it exactly how you want it nonetheless, the customization is amazing.
