My G5 Mac is a bit of a complicated beast.
Unless I replace the hard drive I will never be able to update anything. Therefore, I'm using maybe 2010 iTunes, maybe 2009? Either way, it gets the job one simply and organized.
I also use spotify semi-religiously.
Groove shark here and there.
I also get about 6 albums a week from bandcamp and noisetrade.

Spotify, iTunes, and YouTube. Not an audiophile.

I used to use windows media player cause it would just automatically put things in my library, but it doesn't like a certain kind of id3 tag so I went over to winamp. It works.

Oh and re: complaints of spotify not sounding good, go to preferences and set it to hq quality.

OK, I've just installed MusicBee because of this thread. This better be worth it.

Poweramp for Android. Good sound quality, 10 band equalizer. Otherwise, a Pioneer car radio that plays Wave files, Windows Media Player, an Internet (Kitchen) Radio with USB, a Panasonic Hi-Fi with USB and twin vinyl decks which I haven't even bothered plugging in yet.

WOOT WOOT.

I might also download MusicBee, just to see what's up. I've never used it before.

For finding new stuff I use Youtube and Grooveshark. Used to use Spotify but not often enough to justify paying for monthly and was always annoyed by the ads so I stopped. I'll go there sometimes for stuff I can't find elsewhere but I have started to notice that the quality is awful. Not an audiophile by any means but I'd rather things don't sound like a garbled mess.

Use iTunes most of the time otherwise. I've never had a problem with it; the only thing that frustrates me is when I sort my Belle & Sebastian albums by release date and If You're Feeling Sinister gets sorted before Tigermilk because it only stores release year.

Either the default settings in the free version are really crappy or I'm crazy. I get 320 kb/s and it sounds great.
