Apologies if we have had one of these before; I couldn't find it.

Its an ask and receive sort of deal.

I want horror recs. Texas Chainsaw is my favourite horror movie but I love all the ones that are obsessed with fantastic and strange imagery, which is most of them. Have seen Evil Dead, Suspiria, The Shining, Wicker Man, Hausu, Rosemary's Baby, Vampyr, Night of the Living Dead, maybe some others. I liked all of those. I'm very receptive to kaiju films as well, because although the few Godzilla films I've seen have been meh, giant monsters are like the epitome of fantastic and strange imagery.

Takashi Miike's Gozu. If this excerpt (which is pretty representative of the feel of the whole thing) doesn't sell you then I don't know what will

The Babadook? It's not as great as the films you've mentioned, but it's a good one nonetheless.

Inland Empire is not a horror film but has a similar nightmarish feel, I think you'll like it.
