A dog is probably at the top of my list, they're seriously scary when they want to be, and it'd probably take them longer to kill you than a bear or a lion.

If it counts, then easily flesh eating bacteria wins.

I think visuals are necessary for the full effect

Scorpions man; I'm just freaked out by them. Also I always say that if I saw a crocodile I'd just lose my ability to move and it'd catch me.

I think they're relatively common where I just moved to. Really hoping they don't find a way into my apartment.

They're really not that dangerous/lethal iirc. Kind of like a wasp is all. Now, rattlesnakes on the other hand...

Good, informative read with this major takeaway => You now have an excuse to get those black lights you always wanted. Laughing

Yeah. It's not really a rational fear.

Snakes in general freak me out. I think any animal without legs or with too many legs is a problem. I've not had a run in with a rattlesnake out here yet, but when I was out here a couple years ago, we were warned by another hiker that there was one on our trail. Not the type of thing you want to hear when you're exhausted and close to the summit.

I'm more scared of Scorpions than snakes. Once saw a big one and was shaking for half an hour. Have seen snakes many times and wasn't that much scared. They just don't look scary to me. Tarantulas on the other hand . . . shudder.

I would hate to be killed by a house cat, gecko, house fly, salmon or a woodpecker.

It has little to do with the pain/fear/etc. and more to do with the embarrassing obit that follows.

"craola died Saturday afternoon after a vicious attack by the common house fly...."

This, I would gladly go to a comedy club to see Kiki perform.

But yeah, the kraken and badgers.
