A video game is indeed not a film or an album, but it is still a piece of art we have to experience in full to have an appropriate measure to regard it. But if this is how you'll be perceiving it, I will not care for your introspection on the matter which is probably fine if you make these lists for yourself.

It is fine. To be honest, I don't care who cares. I'm just posting something to speak of. I knew a post like yours would come around, put I'm a guy ho experiences a video game on full after I have the gameplay down. Besides, there are some games that are just to hard to beat, like Story Mode in F-Zero GX. Now, I'm a great game racer, and I've beaten a lot of grand prix modes, but F-Zero GX is hell unless you do it PERFECTLY. I was able to beat the hardest Grand Prix difficulty (which took weeks), but Chapter 9 of Story mode is asking for you to die.

I've beaten Battletoads on cooperative mode. Where there is a will, there is a way.

I'll bet it was as hard as grand prix mode on F-Zero GX...
Cooperative mode, huh?

The grand old question in Battletoads 2P, "Why is there friendly fire?!"
Though it has been years since I've touched Battletoads, so my memory is probably off given the famous glitches and issues with cooperative mode in later levels. Pretty sure me and my friend Patrick figured it out though.

Do they have Battletoads (Sega) on Virtual Console?
Another good challenge is Mega Man. The whole rock paper scissors function can be a bit frustrating to figure out, but once you do, the boss battles can be a lot easier. I took out Elecman in three hits. But getting there is super tough. A lot of fun, though. I doubt it's as hard as Battletoads. Never played it, but I heard it's one of the hardest games ever. Cool.

Not sure.
But yeah, I remember quite enjoying the old Mega Man games, though I never owned them (my neighbor did though), though I think my favorite one is the least Mega Man-esque of all of them: Mega Man Legends (PSX, 1997).
