Killer by Alice Cooper
This was okay, not much more. I prefer the more somber parts of this record as the hard rocking bits of it didn't feel too right for me.

To Bring You My Love by P.J. Harvey
This record surprised me! My entrance to PJ was Let England Shake and that record was (is still) mediocre for me, and then I listened to Stories From the City, Stories From the Sea and was left appreciating her a little more, but I still wasn't sold. Fast forward a few months and i listened to White Chalk and dug the emotional aspect of it, but ehh, something didn't feel right. Now fam, oh we get to this here record. This was wonderful! Well, in comparison to her other work, that is.

^^^ Interesting. For me, Stranger's Almanac is the best album by Whiskeytown and easily one of the best things Ryan Adams has ever done. Surprised you guys don't like it as it's one of my all time faves.
edit: You're ULL is EXHAUSTING, Precedent. LOL. I've heard the whispers of how many albums you listen to but actually seeing it is just INSANE. LOL. What is time indeed.

I'm overjoyed by what you've been listening to. And sometimes I totally agree and sometimes I'm disappointed by the little comments. You never were one to give many words to describe your love or disdain for things so that relatively big comment on the best PJ Harvey album was refreshing. Glad as of yet not too much "#hyped" or "#trill" comments yet.
But yeah, Americana, country, folk, whatever the duck uou call that, its good to see you're taking in a lot of that.
If you haven't heard "Anodyne" by Uncle Tupelo, I recommend it. It's probably the most accessible album in their discog and it's right up there with March 16-20 for my favorite as well.
Edit: oh and didn't you already do a ULL? It's fine if this is your 2nd. I just remember recommending you a Todd Rundgren album at one point and I thought it was for your ULL. Maybe that was Goodsir or suede...? _________________ -Ryan

really surprised you can listen to this much music. do you revisit albums often or ever articulate your feelings in longer-form writing, or do you like to kind of take as much in as you can while you can? either way, pretty interesting ULL and cool to see you jumping around stylistically.
