Since the thread trying to find an album which we've all heard in the past 3 years seems to have failed, I figure we should try to find an album from any time period we've all heard.

With the topic as broad as it is, I figure we should narrow things down a little. We'll start with albums that make #1 for their respective years (from 1965 onward,) and/or make the overall top 50. Here are the eligible albums...

1959 - Kind of Blue by Miles Davis
1965 - Highway 61 by Bob Dylan
1965 - Rubber Soul by The Beatles
1966 - Revolver by The Beatles
1966 - Pet Sounds by The Beach Boys
1966 - Blonde on Blonde by Bob Dylan
1967 - Sgt Peppers by The Beatles
1967 - The VU&N by The Velvet Underground
1967 - The Doors by The Doors
1967 - The Jimi Hendrix Experience by The Jimi Hendrix Experience
1968 - The Beatles by The Beatles
1969 - Abbey Road by The Beatles
1969 - Led Zep II by Led Zeppelin
1969 - Let It Bleed by The Rolling Stones
1969 - In The Court of The Crimson King by King Crimson
1969 - Led Zeppelin by led Zeppelin
1970 - After The Gold Rush by Neil Young
1971 - Led Zep IV by Led Zeppelin
1971 - Who's Next by The Who
1972 - Ziggy Stardust by David Bowie
1972 - Exile on Main St by The Rolling Stones
1973 - Dark Side of The Moon by Pink Floyd
1974 - The Lamb Dies Down On Broadway by Genesis
1975 - Wish You Were Here by Pink Floyd
1975 - Blood on The Tracks by Bob Dylan
1975 - Born to Run by Bruce Springsteen
1976 - Songs In The Key of Life by Stevie Wonder
1977 - Rumours by Fleetwood Mac
1977 - Marquee Moon by Television
1978 - Darkness on The Edge of Town by Bruce Springsteen
1979 - London Calling by The Clash
1979 - The Wall by Pink Floyd
1979 - Unknown Pleasures by Joy Division
1980 - Remain in Light by The Talking Heads
1981 - Moving Pictures by Rush
1982 - Thriller by Michael Jackson
1983 - Murmur by REM
1984 - Purple Rain by Prince
1985 - Rain Dogs by Tom Waits
1986 - The Queen Is Dead by The Smiths
1987 - The Joshua Tree by U2
1988 - Daydream Nation by Sonic Youth
1989 - Doolittle by The Pixies
1989 - Stone Roses by The Stone Roses
1990 - Violator by Depeche Mode
1991 - Nevermind by Nirvana
1991 - Loveless by My Bloody Valentine
1991 - Ten by Pearl Jam
1992 - Automatic For The People by REM
1993 - In Utero by Nirvana
1994 - Grace by Jeff Buckley
1995 - The Bends by Radiohead
1995 - What's The Story Morning Glory by Oasis
1996 - Pinkerton by Weezer
1997 - OK Computer by Radiohead
1998 - In The Aeroplane Over The Sea by Neutral Milk Hotel
1999 - Aegaetis Byrjun by Sigur Ros
2000 - Kid A by Radiohead
2001 - Is This It by The Strokes
2002 - Yankee Hotel Foxtrot by Wilco
2003 - Elephant by The White Stripes
2004 - Funeral by Arcade Fire
2005 - Illinois by Sufjan Stevens
2006 - Whatever People Say I Am by The Arctic Monkeys
2007 - In Rainbows by Radiohead
2008 - Fleet Foxes by Fleet Foxes
2009 - Merriweather Post Pavillion by Animal Collective
2010 - The Suburbs by Arcade Fire
2011 - Bon Iver, Bon Iver by Bon Iver
2012 - Good Kid M.A.A.D City by Kendrick Lamar
2013 - Modern Vampires by Vampire Weekend
2014 - Lost In The Dream by The War On Drugs
2015 - To Pimp a Butterfly by Kendrick Lamar

Simply copy the list and repost it after deleting what you haven't heard. Eventually it will be whittled down to only have albums that everyone on here has heard. Hopefully, some of these will actually make it all the way through. My bet is on Dark Side of The Moon. If none make it through, or people just want to find more albums we've all heard, we could do any album at #2 for it's respective year and/or makes the top 100 overall, but let's just start with these and see if anyone is actually interested.

Wow, I'm guessing that not everyone is as well listened as you.

The flaws of being an introvert who doesn't like social interaction, I guess, haha.

Hmm, currently have all of those in my iTunes, clearly I'm cool... Cool

Edit: Basically when I arrived to BEA for the first time I worked off the overall chart for the better part of a year listening to what I hadn't heard before, I cleared 500+ before I'd ever even ventured onto the forums (Which threw my listening habits off into strange new pathways).
