I've seen Pixies (Doolittle 25th), Arcade Fire (Suburbs), Animal Collective (Centipede Hz and their recent DJ Set thing), Kanye West (Yeezus), Neutral Milk Hotel (Reunion), and Swans (To Be Kind) as far as acts I would deem notable. Alex G and Pope could get thrown in for good measure, I guess, but they're just friends of friends so the vibe has just been that I'm at a party where these people happen to be. I'm gonna buy tickets to Beach House for October soon, and I'm probably going to spend reckless amounts of money on a September vacation cross country to catch Autechre.

I absolutely would like to see a live by Nils Frahm nowadays! I watched somehting on youtube and it seems just magic..
Unfortunately he doesn't come to Italy so i should go to Germany for that..
Another artist active atm who i'd like to see is Ty Segall, even better if it's Fuzz... but i guess it doesn't count unless it is in some suburb in USA )

I've seen:
Iron Maiden
Anthrax
Megadeth
Motorhead

Snoop Dogg
There are too many acts I'd love to see. But I'd definitely like to see Metallica one day. _________________

The best shows:
Nine Inch Nails
Tool
The Decemberists
Neko Case
Alison Krauss and Union Station
John Butler Trio
Drive-By Truckers
Ray LaMontagne
The Avett Brothers
Iron & Wine
Other big acts I've seen, but whose live show didn't really impress me (has more to do with arenas than with the bands):
Foo Fighters
Live
Counting Crows
A Perfect Circle
Muse
Red Hot Chili Peppers
Pearl Jam
Mudhoney
Honorable mention to Weezer, who played the gym of my local tech college back in like '94. I don't remember if the show was any good, but we were all stoked that a band we'd heard of would come play our little town at all.

Manic Street Preachers
Villagers
Against Me!
Rise Against
Those are the only music artists I have seen live which will have albums on BEA. All the others are music artists who played charity events, local folk groups (when in Lake District) and artists at Haven holiday parks when younger.
For Want to See, perhaps artists high on my charts.
