Hmm, well I am cautiously excited. I liked Under Cover Of Darkness, so maybe it is a (apparently eclectic) return to form. Either way I will be buying

Going to buy it no matter what. I was pretty dissapointed with under the cover, it sounded like popier, cartoonish version of themselves. Having said that, i liked youre so right and that moonlight song they played on snl alot more. So yeah, i hope the songs are more like those two. im pretty psyched actually. This hasn't been the greatest year for music so far, so hopefully angels is gonna turn it around Very Happy

I just listened to the entire thing, and it's not bad, but not nearly as good as they could do. I'd give it a 75/100, key tracks being 'Call Me Back', 'You're So Right' and 'Life Is Simple In The Moonlight'

I certainly don't think 2011 has been mediocre. Let England Shake, TKoL, The King is Dead and Mogwai's new album are all good.

I havent listened to it yet, but it's ANGLES, not ANGELS.
I'm expecting a lot of it, so I hope it doesn't disappoint.

Laughing , but i'm trying to be objective, and i think that Angles is really good. i really didn't expected it to be that good. it's far from the level of Is This It? though.
