I always look through this site to find ideas on what to listen and then go on spotify and listen to them. It would be awesome if besteveralbums made an account on spotify and made playlists/playlist folders with the best albums of different years and ever etc in chronological order etc. I could see keeping the spotify version up to date as things are constantly moving through votes etc. but having that spotify component right there available ready to go would be great, that way I could listen to all the best albums in 2015 from best to least best, or the other way around maybe?
It's a good idea, and I'll add to the list (need to check into their API etc first). In the meantime, the easiest way to create a playlist on Spotify would be to export one of the charts on BEA as a CSV file and paste the album and artist into Spotify's Textbox Search field as suggested here: http://www.reddit.com/r/spotify/comment...ralbumscom
As pointed out in the original post, the playlist on Spotify would become slowly out of date due to changes in rank on BEA. It would be cool if you could generate playlists on Spotify directly from RSS feeds as all charts on BEA are available and up-to-date in RSS format.
EDIT: This is now done. Spotify playlists are now accessible from any aggregate chart from within the sharing toolbar on each chart page.
