I searched but couldn't find anything. What about an option to add song lyrics to a song's page. You could incentivize by offering BEA points. Maybe 5 or so since for the average entered album you get 20+. I forsee issues with one person spending hours amassing 1000s of points for entering lyrics, but people get points in much shadier ways. _________________

Hmm, does anyone know for sure. Seems unlikely due to the 1000s of sites that do that (spotify included). Also were giving credit to the creators not trying to pass anything off as our own. Interesting point though. _________________

Spotify probably has permission to do it, since they have the rights to the music. The other sites are probably just gambling that the copyright holders won't bother, which I'm sure is true in most cases. The reason I know it's against US copyright law is I once received a cease and desist from Yoko Ono's lawyers after posting the lyrics to a Beatles song on an internet forum.
