My favourite Smashing Pumpkins album. I like the fact that it doesn't take itself seriously, giving us with some laid back alt. rock bangers.

This is one of the most underrated albums of all time imo. It might not be as masterful as their next two albums but not many albums are. This release has great rock songs like Siva and Bury Me that still bump hard 24 years later. I also love the pretty and slower tracks like Rhinoceros and Snail which are the Pumpkins' first showcase of their songwriting talents of that style. Definitely check this out if you're a Pumpkins fan.

Completely agree that this is an underrated album. I think it's been somewhat overshadowed by the two masterpieces that came on it's heels, but this is a great album in it's own right. I try to picture listening to this when it was first released and what I would think. It seems obvious that this was a band destined for greatness from the start, but that's easy to say after the fact. It's a shame that Corgan's ego has caused so many problems over the years.
