Super excited to see how pumped everyone is for the animated films poll Smile

Same rules as the other editions. Submit lists with IMDB, Letterboxd, or PM me a written list. Please number these lists though, as it will help me quite a bit. Lists will be maxing out at 100. The final list will be 100 films. This time around, I'll be accepting lists of any denotation up to 100. The size of your list determines it's weight.

For the first time, shorts will be allowed, but try to avoid submitting anything under a minute in length. Music videos are not being accepted. Youtube videos might need to be argued.

During the duration of this poll, I will be listing off films that will not be accepted due to their level (or lack) of 'animation'. For some films, a general consensus will need to be established on whether or not they should be accepted. Please ask if you are unsure on whether or not to include a film.

Films Not Being Accepted:
1. King Kong (1933)
2. Rabbits (2002)
3. Team America (2004)
4. The Dark Crystal (1982)
5. Lessons Learned
6. The Fool of the World and the Flying Ship

The deadline will be October 3rd.

Just a reminder that this exists:

Does Computer Dreams count? It's a documentary about computer animation but basically just serves as a curated sampler of animated short films. I don't recall any live action sections of the film, and the entire reason I like it is the animated segments on their own and the sheer volume and variety, but because of its documentary nature, I wasn't sure if it would be okay.

If it is, then it looks fine.

I of course highly recommend everything that you might overlook from my list. Outside of the three trailers I provided, here is a few more:

Some are very short but with exception of maybe the last one, I think all would be accepted. Not just my favorites, but ones specifically I'd think you'd like and might not know, and that are on the shorter side.

BTW because this is important given what I've listed, claymation is acceptable, right? Nightmare Before Christmas, Aardman, etc?

The better known ones that people might not think to vote for are Creature Comforts (actually Wallace and Gromit too but those are probably better known still), Geri's Game, and for real don't sleep on Iron Giant. That still is a beautiful film ...

Haha The Man Who Planted Trees is one of my favorite films of all time, in any genre Love . (Also quite fond of The Hand, The Sand Castle, and The External World). Gonna be watching the others shortly. And Gowi I've seen (and like or love) all of those sans Expelled From Paradise. Also gonna check that out soon. (And Secretdad that looks crazy and I'm looking forward to it)

Hey Hayden, is this eligible?

Also what about films using the pixelation technique? (i.e. stop-motion with people, like this)
