Pretty surprising they'd put Maxinquaye at #2, that's pretty cool.

My favorite album of the 90s is Bee Thousand and the rest are probably Transaction De Novo, Red House Painters, Lazer Guided Melodies and Loveless, or Alien Lanes if I'm being honest. The order doesn't really matter to me.

Loveless will always be my 90s bae.

EDIT: Here is my top 5:

Loveless by My Bloody Valentine

The Soft Bulletin by The Flaming Lips

Mellon Collie And The Infinite Sadness ...g Pumpkins

The Bends by Radiohead

Spiderland by Slint

Pretty cliché, especially since all of these are Pitchfork essentials to the 90s, lol.

only stuff that i think has a reasonable choice of having been recorded/composed (whichever is more relevant to the genre in question) in the '90s in instances i don't know, so 77 Live, Divine Music from a Jail, Boulez's Webern recordings, etc. aren't here:

Fallen Angel Of Doom by Blasphemy

BCD by Basic Channel

Loveless by My Bloody Valentine

Underground Vol. 1: 1991-1994 by Three 6 Mafia

Le Paradoxe De La Femme-Poisson by Christian Zanési
