Anyone check out their local music store for Record Store Day? There was some great vinyl releases, however most of them were sold out by the time I got their. I did manage to score the Caravan/BU2B 7" single by RUSH.

Because I was finishing up a speech and debate tournament that day, I wasn't able to visit any actual stores. However, as I own a Creative Commons record label, I handed out several releases there on CD.

Yep! Visited Amoeba and got 6 CDs for thirty bucks, which isn't too bad! They used to give out swag, though, and they didn't this year, which made me kinda :/
The things I got were:
Get Lonely-The Mountain Goats
Feather Float-OOIOO
Miss Machine-The Dillinger Escape Plan
So-Peter Gabriel
Heartbeat City-The Cars
Source Tags and Codes-...And You Will Know Us By the Trail of Dead
So far I've actually really liked them all!

(sigh) i asked my dad to drive to are local record store (which happens to be 27 miles away) for record store day. he said "sure, just let me go to the gym and we can go when i get back". he came back 4 hours later and said i can't do anything until i mow the are yard, when i was done with that we went but by then it was 7 PM and they were sold out and were about to close. You know, having a driving license would have been really useful at that moment. I hate taking driving classes.
