Just finished up the Panopticon and yeah, it's definitely one of the best albums of the year. I wouldn't be surprised if it made my overall soon enough. Gorgeous atmospheric black metal <3

Now I'm finishing up

Arcturian by Arcturus

Definitely not my favorite Arcuturus, but this is solid. Definitely a nice listen for avant-garde metal.

Is it solipsistic in here or is it just me?

Frozen Niagara Falls by Prurient

Definitely recommended to DBZ, Gowi, Rocky, and Skinny.

Glad to hear you liked it! It's actually already on my 2015 chart (top-40 IIRC), it's great!

Oh! Very Happy

Went on a morning walk yesterday and decided to finally listen to

6 Feet Beneath The Moon by King Krule

This was an engaging listen due to all of the influences that I could hear throughout this record. He's a bona fide lad.

This morning I listened to the new Kauan record, Sorni Nai! This is definitely in running for being the post-rock AOTY. Can't ask for much more, honestly. Give it a listen! Recommended to Gowi, Goodsir, and Rocky.

After that, I had about an hour and a half in between classes so I finished up

Dar De Duh by Dordeduh

which is a solid folksy, atmospheric black metal record

and

777 Cosmosophy by Blut Aus Nord

which is a thriving atmospheric black metal album

Just finished up

Beware The Sword You Cannot See by A Forest Of Stars

which is an atmospheric black metal album that takes influences from avant-garde metal, folk metal, and progressive metal to really create their niche in the genre. Great album, one of my favorites of this year.

Now I'm on all fours listening to

All Fours by Bosse De Nage

which, like many of these records, is one that falls into the genre of atmospheric black metal, except this one takes more influences from post-hardcore than the rest.

Not sure if you'd like this, but I think you might find it interesting. It's electronic covers of black metal tunes. If you haven't heard it, I think you might like it

Oooo! Looks interesting Very Happy

Will give it a listen! Thank you Rocky!

After All Fours, I decided to take a journey over to the realm of psychedelic black metal with

Valonielu by Oranssi Pazuzu
which was a good soundtrack to my nightly hour (or two) of one of the few video video games I like, Smash.

Still smashing, I realized that the Pazuzu ended and my love for black metal was still alive, so I looked at the RYM chart and saw what had the coolest looking album cover and decided to listen to Phobos Monolith by Mare Cognitum which is atmospheric black metal that screams its adjective. What a wonderful way to close out the night!

Now I'm deciding whether or not to do a paper now or later whilst listening to good ol' Spectral Lore with their album III.

Oooo! WHAT A TIME! Today has been a great day for music! I still have a lot more to listen to, but I started the day off with what was one of my most anticipated albums of the year,

Purpose by Justin Bieber

I ended up loving this, there's nothing I would change. His best project to date!

After that, I peeped Free TC by Ty Dolla $ign which was a nice blend of modern r&b, soul, and hip-hop.

Now I'm nearing the end of the new Logic album, The Incredible True Story, which may end up being one of my favorite albums of the year. Interesting production and his execution is ace.

On 11.14 I listened to

Riot Boi by Le1f which was interesting.

The next day I finally peeped

Made In The A.M. by One Direction which blew me away, may be their best to date. Incredible pop music.

After that, I journeyed to good ol' prog rock with the new Gazpacho record, Molok. This may be my favorite from them to date, definitely a fun listen.

More on prog, i finally got to the new Caligula's Horse, Bloom. Definitely back-heavy which provided for a rewarding listen.

On 11.18 I finally got to

The Epic by Kamasi Washington which lived up to my expectations, extremely pretty.

This morning I finished Third Side Of Tape by Lil Ugly Mane which currently ranks one spot below The Epic on my 2015 album list on RYM, so yeah, I loved it.

Now I'm listening to

Shadow Of A Doubt by Freddie Gibbs which is BUMPING. LOVING this.
