Ended up enjoying the Gibbs, definitely need to revisit his older work.
Popped in Arca's Mutant Friday night and it surpassed all expectations even though I am a massive Arca fan. This would land in my top 250 albums of all-time.

Finally listened to 2 8 1 4's 新しい日の誕生 which is great, hazy ambient/vaporwave. Definitely in my top 5 vaporware releases.

Another solid power metal release
Enshine's Singularity
PHEW, spacey death-doom metal, one of the best metal releases of the year. I recommend this to DBZ, Skinny, Silver, MrFrogger, Goodsir, and Gowi.

Feel The Misery by My Dying Bride
Another solid MDB album. One of the most consistent artists in music.
After that, I checked out Shape Of Despair's Monotony Fields which is a great funeral doom metal record that takes hints from gothic metal to create this beautiful, crushing atmosphere.
