The newest person to go forward is legendary singer/songwriter Tony Joe White. The only song that I really know of from him is this one written by him.

God bless you and his family always!!!

Josh Fauver, most known for being Deerhunter’s best bassist (S/T - Halcyon Digest) and head of the Atlanta label, Army of Bad Luck passed away at 39 yesterday. I feel for this loss particularly because tracks like the one below and Hazel St. are really influential to me as a bassist. R.I.P., the band was never quite the same once you left.

I do want to point this out. Even though he wasn't a musician, Stan Lee has passed away.

The greatest, most important man of the 20th century. In pop culture surely. But also in general. I think.

Let the hyperbole olympics commence.

Anyway, RIP.

You are right. I let myself be carried away. The most important people of the 20th century were Einstein and Wittgenstein. Lee only made it to third place.
