Her most overrated album, but "Cloudbusting" is an eternal masterpiece.

I've never listened to a single Kate Bush track aside from her collaboration with Peter Gabriel. I've heard if you're into Peter Gabriel, you should be able to get into Kate Bush pretty easily. Any truth in that?

I wouldn't know, 'cause I'm not huge on Mr. Gabriel, but Kate Bush is one of the all-time greats. Every second of this album is ace.

I'll take your word for it and put it on my immediate listen-to list.

I remember listening to this late one night and being convinced that Kate Bush had just solved life.

Forever my favorite Kate Bush album, edging out The Dreaming. One of the most essential albums of the 80s. Not a single bad moment.

As someone who does like Peter Gabriel, I can't imagine someone disliking Kate Bush. She's been more consistent than Gabriel, and arguably more innovative. They've similarly come from a proggy, theatrical background, but the results end up a bit different, mostly due to Kate's unmatchable sensuality.

It has "Cloudbusting", and therefore can't be all bad.

Yes, absolutely. I haven't met anyone who likes Gabriel's music and dislikes her.
Hounds of Love is a superb album, this and The Kick Inside are my favourites by her.
