(Sorry, I have no clue what the next steps are for the OP, so I just listed releases that are often difficult for other users. I'm sure DBZ and Satie will have many more to name)

Hey, Kenny G actually seems extremely difficult for BEA to listen to. Even users who love him as a meme have trouble through G Force in full, and listening to most of his discography probably seems unfathomable to many.
so riding along the difficulty path of the OP, I guess you've got Royal Trux - Twin Infinitives? Then maybe To Live And Shave in LA - 30-Minuten Männercreme?
I'm not sure if the difficult records of my youth would interest you, but I really struggled with Leafcutter John - Microcontact at first, until one day I was giving it another listen because I did really like track 9 but the whole thing just clicked. But that's like weird electronic shit so I dunno if you'd be up for that.
This isn't necessarily a challenging listen, but it definitely takes some patience. I wrote it off after one listen but now it's becoming a favorite; it's a perfect album to listen to while lying on your back on the floor.

You know, I think almost all experimental music can be rewarding on repeated listens, as well as stuff like outsider music and more complex classical works. Most music of this type can be great if you try to focus and hone in on its qualities, no matter how "unmusical" it may be.
Jandek in particular was pretty baffling to me at first. I never disliked him but I definitely didn't understand his appeal - now I can hear his powerful pathos in every dissonant strum. Isolation music, truly.
