Do I actually have to know anything about the genre or is it just to celebrate the genre?
If so, I'd love to do a Motown thread...? Maybe soul... idk... Genres and I have never really been friends, so as long as nobody goes anal retentive on my interpretation of a Genre... then sure. Motown. Crap... maybe Funk. hahaha, I can't decide and my thread probably would be equally disorganized. Maybe I'd do them separately... but there's a small overlap between the two (in motowns later years like with Stevie Wonder's Superstition).
EDIT: I realize Motown is even more difficult because it isn't just a style, but a record company that then almost became a style (similar to how Grunge almost makes no sense to me in the way it is "grouped").

btw I still have a bunch I wrote on post-minimalism and totalism awhile ago that I never actually posted and have now classified as shit but you can chalk me up for one day wanting to refine that and give it another go
edit: oh and definitely chalk me up for Futurism too

Yea, absolutely. Right now I'm only seeing three people including myself signing up to do this (that'd be you, me, and Gowi), is that right?
If this is something we're all actually serious about doing (which would be awesome), then I can definitely edit the OP and sticky this thread and we can get this underway.
Would we want to do a poll thing like we did last time? We don't have to, personally I'd lean towards not doing it and just having people post whenever they're ready, but whatever everyone else wants.

imo best option is have the volunteers just work out an order amongst themselves
