Pretty cool album. Some of Interpol's catchiest singles on here.

I've had a hard time liking Interpol. I even saw them live... I don't know what my problem is... they just don't do it for me. Same with the Killers. They are pretty meh to me. Not that they suck, I just can't get into them.

Actually, some of The Killers stuff kinda does suck. Though, depending on how their fifth album goes, they may be in for a return-to-form. They would be following the same trajectory as Interpol AND The Strokes.

Amazing, if not epochal first record (Is This It, Turn on the Bright Lights, Hot Fuss)
Admirable follow-up (Room on Fire, Antics, Sam's Town)
Spotty, but decent third record (First Impressions of Earth, Our Love to Admire, Day & Age)
A genuine letdown (Angles, Interpol, Battle Born)
Seriously getting their shit back together (Comedown Machine, El Pintor, ?)

It's ok, but it's not Turn On The Bright Lights. That's all.

No, nearly all of the Killers stuff sucks.

I liked this Interpol record a lot more when it came out than I do now. it's a decent follow up, but is missing the special something that Turn on the Bright Lights had.

Back in 2004/2005 I thought Antics was better then, and I still think it is tbh. There is plenty of that "special something" in Antics as far as my ears can tell but I won't deny a lot of it is nostalgia.
