Going to have to give Kode9 a shot before submitting a vote. Had never heard of them before. I am generally favorable to Elvis' work though, so they would have to be more than half-bad to get my vote.
I was going to vote Elvis, then I listened to the yotuube video of the other artist who I hadn't heard of. Now I'm in no doubt Elvis should win this.
Quite right. Now I've already established before that Costello only has about 3 good songs out of his 1,230 that he wrote , but after listening to about 2 minutes of Kode9 he goes through easily.
maybe I chose the wrong video to introduce them with but i really liked it and it made me stop and think a decision which i originally was going to phone in. So I'll have to listen to some more kode9.

I sure do know good songwriting. How about Huey Lewis?
He's been compared to Elvis Costello, but I think Huey has a far more bitter, cynical sense of humor.
