I wonder who I'll go with. Razz

Porcupine Tree's vid was a bit of a weak example though imo.

I haven't voted on this fight yet but that was a great song. I'm big on how good the musicians themselves are when I rank bands. More so than other people on BEA that's for sure. And all of these musicians are top notch. I love that Sonor drum set and the drumming. Great bass and keyboards also. I may have to go with Porcupine Tree.

O.K. that was also good.

I will give extra points for the violin.

Personally, I will need more time to think about this battle. It's the only one I have not voted on.

I like Open Car Smile but I guess as an intro for people who doin't know maybe it wasn't the best.

I'm going to have to give a slight edge to Serenity because I like the overall atmosphere of their music a bit more. They are able to create a wave of sound that moves me in kind of an uplifting way.

Serenity it is Very Happy

I admit I only listened to couple of songs by Serenity, but I'm gonna go with Porcupine Tree. In Absentia and Fear of a Blank Planet are both very good albums IMO.

I like it too, that live example just isn't really them at the top of their game.

Also, they have a huge amount of fantastic psychedelic stuff from the 90s.

@Gary, I guess PT isn't so much focused on being uplifting as probing the human psyche. Although I do find them uplifting in their own way.
