So many gorgeous moments. It's certainly not just Everlong, My Hero, and Monkey Wrench on here. New Way Home, February Stars, and Hey Johnny Park are some of my favorite FF songs.

....Well, we can at least agree that "Everlong" is great, right? (Though for some reason autocorrect first turned that name to "Overlong")

Makes my current top 10... which is outdated to like 2012...

But yes, this is quite possibly top 3 Foo Fighters albums pending on my mood.

Ranked it 17 on my 90s Charts and only that low because the 90s are f**King AMAZING.

Probably part of my first adventure into my own musical identity (if that even is a thing).

First song that I learned all bass and two guitar parts on was My Hero.

Fantastic first 5 songs, then love February Stars, Enough Space, Everlong and My Hero are also terribly fantastic.

Totally still worth spinning.

I listened to The Colour and the Shape probably every day for weeks when I first got into it. Nowadays I pop it in once in once in a while, and it hasn't lost any luster. 10 years of listening to this album and it has never failed to amaze. Undeniably Foo Fighters's best album. My overall chart and CD collection would be incomplete without it.
