It's a classic Foo Fighters record. And by that I mean it's nothing groundbreaking but still purely enjoyable. They aren't a band I listen to with much regularity anymore, but any time I do revisit them I appreciate the immediacy of their music. It's not quite on par with their first 3 records, but after that it's up there with anything else they've produced.

Love the vitriolic nature of this. Also love that album cover. This was the soundtrack of my senior year of high school, brings back the good memories!

Am I the only person who thinks the cover is trying to imitate Forever Changes? Not saying that makes it any less ugly because it's still really garish.

This might actually be my favorite Foos record. Don't listen to it or any of their albums anymore but it's really bombastic and fun. Rope is one of their best songs.

Definitely my favorite Foo Fighters album. One of my favorite albums of all time. It means that much to me. I saw them on the Wasting Light tour in Detroit, it was a phenomenal show. Start to finish this is their best in my opinion.
