Hey, music lovers. I'm Patrick, but I go by "PD" among friends. It's a long story best untold. I found this site by accident, and I spent two hours on the first go-round, mostly looking at the "Best Of" lists. And in the process looping back and forth from BAE to Spotify.

I'm a 60s-70s guy, faves are The Beatles, Supertramp, Van Morrison, Pink Floyd. I also like the melodic pop of the time—CSN (and Y), S&G, etc.).

I'm also big on "art music," from the baroque (Corelli, the Scarlattis, Bach, Handel, and especially Vivaldi and Telemann) into classical, especially Haydn and most of all Mozart. The second movement of Mozart's Piano Concerto #21 is my single favourite single piece of music.

Finally, I like jazz, more the melodic style than bebop or avant-garde. I listen to a lot of tenor sax—Stan Getz/Zoot Sims/Fraser MacPherson—but I also like the big bands and other melody-forward jazz.
