Absolutely awesome album. Great variety throughout and not a wasted song on it. I always go back and forth between this one and Who's Next as the best album of 1971. In addition to the hits, this album has a slew of deep cuts that match anybody else's best hits. Sway, Moonlight Mile, Dead Flowers, and especially the super fantastic Can't You Hear me Knocking.

It's funny Sticky Fingers should be album of the day. On Saturday I listened to this album for the first time in years. It isn't my favorite of theirs, and I wouldn't consider it for my top 100. It tails off towards the end but it's a solid album. I really like several of the tracks...Sway, Wild Horses, Bitch, Brown Sugar. But for me there's nothing from Sticky Fingers up to the level of Satisfaction, Gimme Shelter, Ruby Tuesday, Paint it Black, amongst others.

By far the best Stones album, and it's not even close. Not to long but still full of great great songs. Can't You Hear Me Knockin' is THE best Stones song ever. _________________ All time

2nd best RS album and a 10/10 in my book. Also I think it's the best starting point for someone wishing to give their albums a try.

Great Album. I highly recommend checking out the Spotify Landmark edition of the album, it pretty much converts it into an audio documentary.

Sticky Fingers was my first Rolling Stones album and I was a little disappointed. Not a bad album but it didn't live up to all the hype. It was a while before I listened to my second RS album, which was Aftermath. And I liked that a lot more. For a band with so much material, I think the best starting point is Hot Rocks/Rewind or Forty Licks. A broad career-spanning greatest hits album would give new listeners a small dose of all their eras and albums, and from there they can pick a studio album that best fits their taste.
