Buzzdainer's chart is probably my favorite one on BEA. He chooses a lot of great classics and favorites on BEA and adds great underappreciated American roots rock albums. Top rate!

Thanks for those kind words, henrygreen0203! I definitely have a bias for all things Americana, including genres like hip hop and soul and funk, which are "Americana" too if you think of those genres as speaking to American experience just as much as, say, country or roots rock. I know the end result is a very America-centric list, but I really enjoy other users' lists that introduce me to other places and genres.
