The first time I was aware of Chuck Berry's music was watching Back to the Future as a kid. The part where Marty plays Johnny B Goode. I thought it was an awesome song. One of the first songs I remember committing the lyrics to memory. Later I discovered more Chuck Berry songs through early Beatles and Stones songs. Then I found his music for myself. He was a true innovator. Very talented songwriter and performer. And I enjoyed seeing a bit of his story in the film Cadillac Records, which I own and will watch again soon.

RIP Chuck Berry. You were the greatest.
