Best Ever Films of 2016 [Lists]

2016... pretty crazy year for film. Genuinely. It felt like directors had a sudden spark this year. People are trying to reach new heights, realizing that the typical formulas won't suffice anymore. It's cool. I feel like that trend is continuing into 2017, giving us plenty to look forward to in the oncoming months

Remember that time La La Land won Best Picture? Wasn't that an interesting 2 minutes? Reminds us that anything can happen

Thanks to everyone who participated, there was a pretty strong turn-out. I'm hoping this list gives plenty of recommendations to those who felt like they hadn't seen enough films to contribute

I should note that I respected everyone's selections, and no films were disqualified. If they earned their spot, they earned their spot.

Also, just to get everyone hyped, our #1 and #2 are as close as you can get. They have the same amount of points, but one film appeared on 2 more lists than the other (which is how I break ties), so it was victorious. Pretty insane.

We'll start with the acting categories, then go into our top 50 films of 2016.
