Welcome!

Some of you might remember another music diary I had about a year ago which I dropped abruptly around a month in. If you wonder why I did that, it's because it took too much effort to make every post as clean and pretty as they were so I grew tired of that. However, I miss rating my music, so I decided to make this second forum which won't be as neat, and will hardly have any commentary, but will include A LOT of numerical ratings. Anyway, here's my odd-looking though very functional (for me at least) rating system:

91-100 - Masterpiece
85-90 - Exceptional
80-84 - Great
70-79 - Good
60-69 - Decent
50-59 - Indifferent
40-49 - Poor
25-39 - Bad
10-24 - Terrible
0-9 - Causes Existential Crisis

Ratings for interludes or skits and such:
+ Improves album rating
= Doesn't affect album rating
- Decreases album rating

I will highlight my favorite track from each album as well as any others that I consider essential listening.

Keep in mind that ratings may change with time as all opinions do.

I started fresh with my ratings a few days ago so I'm gonna pump a few of those out today, enjoy!

I wish all albums were as well done as this one. It's not even that the songs are good, but it's how they play together and the themes are explored... it's hard to explain and I don't want to try myself right now but man, this makes everything else seem somewhat one-dimensional.
