Thanks Tap and AlbumMaster.
I'm so glad you linked that help... I'm still not sure I'd be able to find that on my own... ahaha.

I wonder if we should maybe consider a rule that if a member has reached a certain level that the albums they enter must be self-moderated or deleted from the site after a certain period of time...we still have high level members entering large blocks of albums and doing none of the work. _________________ May we all get to heaven

Been thinking about this... tough call. If it weren't for them mentioning the album, we wouldn't be able to discover them. They could be cleaned up later.
Then again...i get frustrated when I'm cleaning up a worthless terrible album called something like Jim Bob goes to prison.

even if the album details haven't been completed straight after an album has been added, I think it's still worth the album being on the site (not everyone needs to see the tracklist straight away). I normally prioritise the artwork and the year of release as the charts look better if there's album art for each of the entries (& I back-fill other details as time allows).

OK I'm totally trying to add albums for the first time but can't find the page to do it on... I feel like I used to know how to do it and I'm sure it's in plain sight but I'm lost. Please help. I know I can type one into my chart but is that the only way? And if so where do I go from there?

there's two main ways of getting to the admin page:
1. At the top of each album or artist page, next to the title of each album/artist there's an icon that looks like a pen. if you click this, you will drill through to the admin page for that item.
2. In the navigation drop-down list underneath 'Home', the newly added albums page shows everything recently added to the site and that's a quick way of seeing everything that needs doing at a glance (there are some filters on this page to allow you to view unmoderated items, or to see items currently missing specific information).

Do you think it worth making album art and year of release mandatory? Or would that limit our entries and it can always be cleaned up later?
