hello AM and mods, I was hoping I could get some help with a thing

so Japanese producer Osamu Sato just released a new album titled All Things Must Be Equal, but he did so in the form of two distinct releases for vinyl and CD, respectively. Try though I may I can't seem to determine if these are two separate releases or two editions of the same release, and if the latter is the case, I can't figure out which is the primary issue. At least for BEA purposes... what's going on here?

There's All Things Must Be Equal (BLN Edition)
and All Things Must Be Equal [TYO Edition]

thanks in advance

Hi DBZ, the guideline at the moment is that "If more than one version of the same album is released on the same day, then the track list & artwork from the regular version take priority over any 'special edition' releases." In the case you're enquiring about, the 'regular' (master) version would be the native release (the Japanese version) but agree it's not as clear cut as some other releases.

thanks AM! Last thing, when I add it to the database, do I bother including "[TYO Edition]" in the title?

Hi, I recently uploaded/updated a 50 greatest albums chart. It's an overrall chart, meaning every entry (or pretty much every entry) should count towards points. Every album I've added that was released in 2017 shows up on the artists page with a "--" symbol next to it, meaning no points were added. How do I change this? I've waited nearly a day, but there's been no change.

Albums from the current year do not count towards the overall rankings. They are only awarded points if they are added in year or decade charts.
