Which highly-ranked BEA album do you agree with the artist but not the album? Where you say to yourself "Yeah, they got the right artist, but they picked the wrong album". These are the ones that make me scratch my head the most:
Bob Dylan. Blood on the Tracks.....should be New Morning or Nashville Skyline
Neil Young. On the Beach.....should be Comes a Time
David Bowie. Hunky Dory...... should be Diamond Dogs
Joni Mitchell. Blue....... should be Court and Spark. For the Roses, Summer Lawns
Flaming Lips. Soft Bulletin.... should be Clouds Taste Metallic
Daft Punk. Discovery.... should be Homework
Fleetwood Mac. Rumors..,..should be Tusk
John Lennon. Plastic Ono band.....should be Walls and Bridges
Talking Heads. Remain in light..... should be Talking Heads 77
Blondie. Parallel Lines..... should be Eat to the Beat
Lou Reed. New York .....should be Sally Can't Dance or ANYTHING from the 70s
Green Day. American Idiot .. ....should be Insomniac
Paul Simon. Graceland...... should be Rhymin Simon
Aphex Twin. Selected Ambient Works vol 1..... should be Richard D James

For Lou Reed, you have already the first 2 ranked albums from the
70's. NY deserves to be on the podium!
Otherwise, I think:
Springsteen : Born In The USA should be higher than Born To Run
Interpol : Antics should be higher than Turn On The Bright Lights

Well I've always like Strange Days more than the self titled Doors album.
And Sticky Fingers is much better than Exile and Let It Bleed. _________________ All time

Love I like both Da Capo and Black Beauty more than Forever Changes
Springsteen- Agree with above Born in USA better overall than Born to Run Album.
Dire Straits- Alchemy better than making movies or brothers in arms
Talking Heads: Fear of Music, More Songs About Buildings and Food, '77 all better than Remain In Light
Elton John- MAdman Across The Water better than Goodbye Yellowbrick Road
Grateful Dead- Live Dead should be their #1 album
Zappa- I agree with Hot Rats #1 but Weasels ripped my flesh and Burnt Weeny Sandwich should be 2 and 3
Bob Dylan- Blonde on blonde over Hwy 61 as top and desire #2 with Hwy being #3* Basement tapes #2 if you count it
Chuck Berry- Chuck Berry Is On top should be higher than great 28
Captain Beefheart- I'd have trout mask as his top but i'd have Mirror Man as #2 ahead of Safe As Milk and Lick Decals Off
beastie boys- license to ill id have as their top over paul's boutique heck i'd have check your head over it too.
Beach Boys- Smile Sessions over Pet Sounds ( I know blasphemy)
U2- Achtung Baby, Unforgettable Fire, Rattle and Hum all over Joshua Tree
David Bowie I feel they got the first three correct but Let's Dance should be #4
Pink Floyd- The Wall or Piper at the gates of dawn, or animals should be higher than Dark side of the moon

Of the big ones I see three artists where the 3rd best album normally is rated higher than my 2 other favorites with the same artist:
Rolling Stones' Exile On Main St should be Sticky Fingers or Beggar's Banquet.
Pink Floyd's Dark Side of the Moon should be Animals or Wish You Were Here.
David Bowie's Ziggy Stardust should be Hunky Dory or Aladdin Sane.

Agree with those pointing out Sticky Fingers should be the top Stones entry.
I would also move Revolver ahead of Abbey.
Miles Davis/Kind of Blue - replace with In a Silent Way
Jimi Hendrix/Electric Ladyland - Replace with Electric Ladyland or Axis: Bold as Love (although this is pretty much a three way dead heat)
Black Sabbath/Paranoid - Replace with Heaven and Hell
